Creating Your Squarespace Account
It's no doubt that Squarespace has grown tremendously within the last few years. You can often see why people have made the switch from other platforms like Wordpress, Blogger, etc. You can even read about why I did!
Before we get into today's post, I think it's important we briefly go over why Squarespace is the ultimate platform to be on.

I know I wrote about it in one of my posts at the very beginning of September and even in my free eBook, but I think it's important for you to understand about the platform and why people are really thinking about using it.
Everything is integrated. Yes that's right, you don't need to worry about getting hosting, SEO, analytics or anything else for that matter. Squarespace has it all!
Even though the platform doesn't give you many templates to choose from like Wordpress does, you still have the options of choosing a design that is incredibly simple and professional. No matter the template you choose, you can really make each one your own.
The platform overall is incredibly easy to use! Yep! You really don't have to know anything about CSS in order to use the platform or even design it all thanks to the awesome Drag and Drop feature.
Have I convinced you to at least try it?!
Well maybe the fact that you can try the platform for free will help give you that little push. Yes, my friend! I definitely said FREE. No credit card needed to try this bad boy out. So just try it already; You have nothing to lose.
Creating an account
Creating an account is pretty easy. Just follow these next few steps and you'll be well on your way to your 14 day free trial. So let's go!
To create your account, go to the Squarespace website. You'll want to click the "GET STARTED" button on the left side of your screen (circled in red in the photo above). This button will redirect you to the template section of the website. On this page, you will find 28 different templates for you to choose from.
When you click on each design, it will give you a little description of each, as well as give you examples of what your website could look like once you customize that chosen template. You don't need to copy those websites because they are basically just there give you an idea of what you can really do when you customize your own.
Once you've chosen the template of your choice, you'll want to click the "START WITH THIS DESIGN" button on the top right side of your screen (beside the demo screen).
Once you've clicked that button, a popup will appear for you to create a new account. Fill in all the information it asks for: First name, last name, email and password.
When you're done filling that out, click on the "SIGN UP & CREATE SITE" button. This will bring you to your website editor, where you can completely customize your website the way you've always dreamed it to be.
