4 tips to help increase your productivity
Procrastination and laziness have always been the culprit when it comes to not getting things done when they need to - at least for me it has. Sometimes it's hard, especially when you've got so much going on in life. Maybe you have kids. Maybe you work full time. Maybe you have all these errands to run. Maybe there just isn't enough time in the day to get all of it done.
It's easy to put your blog or your business tasks on the back burner - especially if your not serious about it. But today is the first day of nipping all these excuses in the butt! Here are some AWESOME tips that can help you be more productive when it comes to your blog and business AND still be able to do everything else you need to do in life.

Early bird gets the worm – isn’t that the saying people have often said? Waking up early helps in so many different ways. Let's be real here. Getting up earlier in your day means you have those few extra hours to get your stuff done. I found that when I got up earlier, and gave myself that extra little bit of time to get ready in the morning, I was going through my to-do list a lot faster.
This is one of the things I've started to do with my Google Calendar is time blocking everything and keeping a to-do list handy. I find myself being more visual, so when I seen that Bonnie shared this behind the scenes view of how she stays organized using her Google Calendar through her Instagram Stories. Absolutely gorgeous colors to differentiate each section of her business. She only ever scheduled one day at a time. If she didn't find herself having enough time to complete one of the tasks or not get any other tasks done, she simply drag and dropped it for the following day.
So, plan out your week by distinguishing what your major goals or tasks are. Then decide what needs to be done first. And if you are visual like I am, plug them into your calendar, whether it be a paper or electronic - Whatever you feel more comfortable with!
Try blocking out 30 minutes of your day with no electronics to get your blog post written. Yes, that means no TV, no cellphone, no music! Giving yourself that time without any distractions can help your creativity by a million.
If you need to work at your computer, try opening only one window. I personally do this. I find when I've got so many windows opened, I get real distracted, especially with social media.
Your health can affect your body in so many different ways. But for productivity sake, you need to make sure you're drinking enough water as well as eating well-balanced meals by making sure you keep your fast food intake on a low. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise in your day.
